Buddies for Ben Uri (Study)
Stuart Mayes was born in Hullbridge, England on 26 March 1968 and works in London. Stuart Mayes’ recent shows include: Studio Work at Parfitt Gallery, Croydon (2005), Day of Intimacy, Signals Art Festival, Crystal Palace, London (2007), Forensic at the Space in Between, London and Hunters & Collectors at The Gallery at Willesden Green, London (both 2008). He has also participated in a number of artist’s projects including Pilot London’s Pilot3 at the Venice Biennale, Triangle Gallery London and ZAIM Project Space, Yokohama, Japan (2007/8); and Michael Petry’s Golden Rain in Stavanger, Norway (2008). He has forthcoming shows at Nordisk Kunst Plattform, Brusand, Norway (2008) and the M2 Gallery, Peckham, London (2009).
